About the OSNZ

The OSNZ aims to develop and implement the following services.

  • CPD:
    • A structured Continued Professional Development programme (a compulsory requirement for OCNZ registration).
    • We will interact with OCNZ regarding your CPD status!! No more worrying about how many points you have accumulated!
    • Online reconciliation of your CPD activity.
    • Up to date National and International course and conference information.
    • We promote excellence in the practice of Osteopathy.
  • Insurance:
    • The OSNZ will negotiate the most competitive insurance rates with the most appropriate cover specifically for Osteopaths
  • Yellow Pages:
    • OSNZ will organise “block” area listings for the OSNZ members at a very competitive rate.
  • Graduate & New membership packs.
    • Will be developed
  • Educational Material:
    • Pamphlets posters and flyers etc
  • Advocacy and Confidential Reporting service

    • Including calendar of events/educational courses/ AGMs (Both International and National)

    • Promoting Osteopathy to the public and other allied health professionals
    • Raising the profile of Osteopathy both in the educational and public domains.

  • Working towards a high profile at government level
  • The associations’ goal is to be accessible and inclusive of all Osteopaths
  • We are going to develop an educational relationship with the AOA to the benefit of the members.
